Okay, I'm going to try and keep an online journal, since I can't seem to actually keep one in the really real world. Something slightly intimidating about having a completely blank book that yearns to be filled instead of just typing away into some screen that can't ever be filled. There's no expectations of completion. No hoping to fill an entire book with some sort of mystical speak that bleeds into the psyche of whatever poor soul discovers it after I'm gone. Instead of hoisting bits of my life on someone who's never going to meet me, just hoist it on random strangers who wander through the web in their spare time. Sounds equitable to me. Anyway, I guess I should give a little background at this point.
Lessee, my name's Meagn (not at typo), I'm 24 years old, and almost completely computer illiterate, so this is going to help me learn more about how to use a computer for something other than just emails and blather. I seem to be failing miserably at the latter don't I. I live in downtown Cincinnati- right smack in the middle of where the supposed rioting occured. I'm dating a soon to be rockstar, which is probably one of the more difficult things that I've ever attempted.
Here's his website- they're actually incredibly good. I didn't know he played music when we started dating so it's not like I'm a seriously creepy stalker chick. I swear. I never realized how hard it was to date a musician, but now I have the utmost respect for any musical pairing that has lasted the long haul. It takes an incredible amount of patience and a willingness to take second place that I'm not sure I can handle, but I'm sure everyone in the webverse will get tired of hearing about it before long.
I'm a writer. Published and everything, just stuck with a killer case of writer's block, but I figure I'll post some of my stuff on here just to get it out of my head and onto something. Hopefully, before I explode. Anyway, I'll be back. Infamous last words.
